Hi, I'm Maya — I sit at the intersection of design and code.

I started out designing interfaces for early-stage startups, then taught myself to build them, because too many good designs died in handoff. Today I run a small independent practice helping founders and product teams design, build, and launch software that feels considered from the first pixel to the last API response.

My approach is simple: understand the problem deeply, design the smallest solution that solves it well, and build it to last. I've shipped everything from marketing sites to full SaaS platforms, and I care as much about load times as I do about letter-spacing.
